Good spots are earned. Moonlog keeps them in a vault on your device, with no map, no feed and no account, and lets you export in open formats.
How the vault works
- Add a spot with a name, coordinates and notes, or use your current location.
- Search the list. Delete with confirmation.
- Import GPX, KML or CSV; duplicates are skipped and bad coordinates are rejected with a count.
- Export GPX, KML or CSV at any time.
Share without giving away the hole
Switch on Blur coordinates when exporting and every coordinate is rounded to 0.01°, about one kilometre. Friends see the area, not the stump.
Why no map?
Maps invite sharing and sharing leaks. A vault with an export you control is simpler and safer. Pair it with your favourite map app by importing the exported file.

Where are my spots stored?
In your browser's storage on your device. Clear site data and they are gone, so export a backup.
Is there any cloud sync?
Not in the web app. Use backup export and import to move devices.
