What it logs
- Trip start and end, location (from your device if you allow it, or typed) and notes.
- Every catch: time, species, and optionally length, weight and bait or lure.
- Conditions you type: temperature, pressure, wind speed and direction, sky.
- Moon phase and the day's solunar windows, calculated on the device.
Fast on the water
The + Catch button is large enough for wet or gloved hands and remembers your last species. Details are optional and can be added to the last catch, or edited at home later.
Your data stays yours
Export all trips as CSV, or take a full JSON backup. Spots live in a private vault with GPX, KML and CSV import and export. See private fishing spot log.
Is it any good for finding patterns?
The Insights tab shows catches by species and catch rate by hour of the day, plus the Moon Test. Patterns need many trips, so the app is honest about wide intervals. For tips on what to record, read how to keep a fishing log.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Everything works offline after the first visit.
Can I switch to inches and pounds?
Yes, in Settings. Values are stored in metric and displayed in your units.
